A fact Ben15 forgot to mention is that a dog is the highest ranking officer in the Corps. Yeah that's right, a dog.

Do you know what an Aggie and a Longhorn have in common? They both applied to UT.

76-35-5. Have fun in the SEC!

As an out-of-state student I honestly wonder sometimes what I've gotten myself into. I know this rivalry means a lot to you guys but it's not worth destroying the other school to make you feel better. And as much as I hear UT say that A&M isn't a rival, I have a word of advice... hatred is not the opposite of love, it's apathy. If you truly didn't care about what was happening at A&M or the rivalry, such a post would not exist because you wouldn't find it meaningful to even talk about it.

Please, guys, be chivalrous. I know you don't like each other but some of the things that are being said and done to each other are really quite unnecessary and uncalled for.

And please hear me out when I say this... as a student at A&M I do not go around calling people who attend UT stupid (among other names) and I ask you do the same. Do not assume that because I attend one school that that automatically means that I lack intelligence, well-roundedness and the ability to strive and succeed in the world. I would appreciate it a lot more if you had the time to actually met me before you made an assumption of who I am/am not. Just because I'm proud to call myself an Aggie does not mean I approve of everything that a fellow Aggie does.

Keep the open-minded and accepting of diversity approach that you give your fellow Longhorns. It makes you sound hypocritical when you boast your ability to accept everyone's view points but yet you make an attempt to show how little you accept ours. At that point you're basically saying you accept everyone's viewpoints as long as it's convenient and they agree with you.

Beyond that, I wish you all the best. Good luck in all your endeavors and UT, we shall see you on Thanksgiving Day. For better or for worse, let's end this on a good note (meaning let's not smear the reputations of either school in the name of coming out on top).

Thanks and Gig 'em

Bmj, aggies spend so much time Hating UT... This article prove further the inferior intelligence of m&a. Oh you silly little aggies, and I quote, "why would you spend so much effort hating on a school?". Please tell us why! We have one article about how annoying this waste of space college is, and you (aggies) have devoted your entire college to hating UT. I believe m&a Is the only school entirely devoted to bashing another school. What a joke

Facts about the corps for all you non Aggies out there :D
A&M corps produces more commisioned officers than any school in the nation (besides the service acadimes of course).
The A&M corps has produced over 225 generals in the United States Military.
The A&M corps has produced seven Medal of Honor winners.
Well over half of the members of the A&M corps have graduated with a commision and gone on to serve our country.
So no, it is not just dress up and pretend like all you uninformed people seem to think. :D
In WWII 20,229 A&M graduates served in the military. Of those, 14,123 were commisioned officers (more than the combined total of the U.S service Academys).
So when us Aggies ask our ancestors what they did in the great war, they wont have to tell us that they were shouveling s**t Lousiana.
